Speaker – LARKIN SIMPSON COO OF MADISON COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (MCEDA)

*September 10th, 2024 -* BOMA MS will have Larkin Simpson COO of Madison County Economic Development Authority (MCEDA) as the featured speaker. Simpson will discuss his focus on existing industry relations, retention, and expansion as well as his leadership role in education and workforce development initiatives in Madison County. As the leader of economic development for Madison County, MCEDA’s mission is to encourage the growth of the county’s existing business and industry, attract new investment and higher-paying jobs, and to increase Madison County’s competitiveness leading to a diverse, vibrant economy benefitting all the county’s citizens.

*August 13th, 2024 -* BOMA MS will meet on Tuesday August 13th at the Jackson Convention Complex for a tour of the 330,000 square foot facility centrally located at 105 E. Pascagoula Street, Jackson, MS 39201. Lunch will consist of 3 salad options that come with rolls, tea, and chef’s choice desert.

The Complex is LEED Certified and offers first-rate amenities, state of the art technologies, resort-quality service and in-house catering services. The Complex has flexible exhibit, ballroom, and meeting space to host anything from a concert or a training seminar, a charity ball or a volleyball tournament, a national convention or a wedding reception and more.
